Day 1 Fly to Perth

Feel the great expansive openness of the West Coast with its big blue skies and its ever developing but still youthful capital city of Perth. You will be personally met at the airport by a DISCOVER AUSTRALIA representative and transferred from the airport to your hotel. You can relax and use the rest of the day to explore your hotel and its facilities, perhaps take a stroll around the neighbourhood and central Perth.

DAY 2 Perth & Fremantle Luxury Coach Tour

The beautiful city of Perth is fringed by the Indian Ocean and the Swan River. It has spectacular beaches, a friendly welcoming ambience and a laid back lifestyle dominated by its seemingly perpetual sunny climes. Chic and stylish, Perth effortlessly combines this beach-outdoor lifestyle with its modern, urban big-city feel. You'll marvel at the spectacular cityscapes from beautiful Kings Park, and enjoy the balmy waters of the Indian Ocean at the world-famous Cottesloe beach. Day 3 Explore Perth

Perth is Australia's friendly city, blessed with abundant sunshine and beautiful surrounds, it blends vibrant urban chic with a laid-back outdoor lifestyle, Perths modern skyline is best viewed from stunning Kings Park which offers great views of the city and the meandering Swan River, nearby attractions include the Swan Valley wineries and historic Fremantle.

Today explore Perth at your own pace. Take a stroll around the city or maybe visit Fremantle. The choice is yours.

Day 4 Tour Perth to Augusta

Today we start our small-group budget tour to the magnificent Margaret River region. Busselton is a charming and lively town that is famous for its incredible 1.8 km jetty that stretches out into the sea, the town's waterfront precinct is home to vibrant cafes, bars, restaurants and kiosks, the calm surrounding waters are ideal for swimming, fishing and snorkelling, popular here in season is whale watching as migratory whales make their way past the town's shores.

Depart Perth this morning, travelling South along the coast to Busselton, home of Busselton Jetty, the longest wooden jetty in the Southern Hemisphere. Enjoy a semi-guided tour of Ngilgi Cave and stop at Canal Rocks before visiting a working farm where you can feed the sheep, experience sheep shearing and watch a sheep dog display.

Later, tour past picturesque vineyards and sample local wines before visiting Margaret River township and the world renowned Surfers Point lookout at Prevally Beach, before travelling up through the Boranup Forest to Augusta.

Day 5 Augusta to Karri Valley

This morning, visit Cape Leeuwin, the most south westerly point of Australia and where the Indian and Southern oceans meet, before stopping in Augusta and travelling through the Karri Valley forest – home to towering karri trees, some more than 60m tall, with sunlight streaming through the canopy.

Enjoy a light bushwalk to Beedelup Falls and take in the spectacular seasonal wildflowers. Try your hand at fishing at the lake, swimming or just enjoy the natural beauty of the area before continuing to your overnight accommodation in the Karri Valley.

Day 6 Karri Valley to Albany

Today, enjoy the opportunity to climb Bicentennial Tree or Diamond Tree before visiting the Giant Tingle Tree and the Valley of the Giants, an iconic region on the south coast of Western Australia between Denmark and Walpole and home to the world famous for the Tree Top Walk suspended 40 metres high in the canopy of the ancient tingle forest. Get a bird’s eye view of some of the world’s tallest timber giants.

Enjoy a swim or walk amongst the spectacular rock formations of Greens Pool or Elephant Rocks and take in breathtaking views of the rugged coastline from the Natural Bridge & The Gap. Feeling relaxed and refreshed, we head to Albany, known for to be the first Europeans settlement in Western Australia. Albany has a long history of whaling and sailing ships anchoring due to the safe waters as well it’s significant role as being the final port for ships carrying troops leaving Australia to fight in World War I. Today, Albany is known for white beaches, breathtaking coastline and the National ANZAC Centre.

Day 7 Albany to Esperance

After breakfast, visit Mt Clarence for unsurpassed panoramic vistas of Albany, Princess Royal Harbour, Middleton Bay and King George Sound where the original WWI convoy ships anchored. If we are lucky, we might spot a Southern Right whale of Humpback whale, passing through.

See Dog Rock, huge granite outcrop near the town centre of Albany before visiting the Mt Romance Sandalwood Factory. You will also have the chance to sample local wines before travelling through the beautiful and pristine Stirling Ranges, famous for its colourful wildflowers and WA’s highest peak, Bluff Knoll, where we enjoy a picnic lunch. This afternoon, we continue to tonight’s accommodation in Esperance.

Day 8 Explore Esperance

Esperance is a coastal paradise overlooking the Southern Ocean, blessed with pristine white beaches and clear turquoise waters. It is the perfect place for swimming and snorkelling as the waters are calm.

Today we travel to Cape Le Grand National Park famous for the kangaroo’s that sunbake on the beach, an iconic image for Western Australia and Australia. Choose to climb Frenchman’s Peak, a challenging walk where you will be rewarded with panoramic views. Enjoy a relaxing swim at Lucky Bay or Hell Fire Bay, a truly spectacular bay of calm, crystal clear waters, before enjoying a coastal drive past Twilight Cove and Blue Haven beaches.

Later, return to Esperance and enjoy some free time to explore the township before dinner.

Day 9 Esperance to Perth via Wave Rock

Depart Esperance this morning and journey to the famous Wave Rock. Take in the beauty of this natural wonder and explore this amazing formation as well as Hippo’s Yawn.

Continue your journey to Perth and after lunch see native wildlife such as koalas, emus and kangaroos at a wildlife park, before visiting the dog cemetery and seeing a rabbit proof fence. Take in the wildflowers on your way back to Perth and arrive back in Perth this evening.

Day 10 Fly Home
