When you arrive into Darwin you can sense the cosmopolitan and thriving atmosphere of this historic tropical North Australian city. Nature's grandeur is showcased across 20,000 square kms of diverse ecosystems and dramatic landscapes. Bear witness to the remarkable rich cultural heritage of the Gagudju people, with rock art sites recording the profound Aboriginal connection to this sacred land spanning thousands of generations. Home to an incredible array of wildlife, Kakadu boasts over 2,000 plant species and hosts nearly a third of Australia's bird species.

As we journey to the park, see the Top End outback bush, eucalypts, palms and termite mounds. Travelling along the Arnhem Highway, soak up the beauty of the majestic Marrakai Plains, a vast expanse of pristine wilderness that creates a breathtaking tableau of natural beauty. Upon arrival to Kakadu National Park, take in the serenity and beauty that nature gifts in the Kakadu wetlands and visit Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre to learn the stories and traditional ways of the beautiful Aboriginal people of Kakadu – the Bininj traditional owners. DAY 4 Jumping Crocodiles Luxury Day Tour & Cruise

Enjoy some free-time this morning to explore Darwin before you set off for an exciting afternoon.

Travel inland to cruise a section of the Adelaide River and witness saltwater crocodiles close up as they leap out of the water to snatch their food. The Adelaide River starts in Litchfield National Park and is well known for its high concentration of saltwater crocodiles, along with other wildlife including white-bellied sea eagles, whistling kites, freshwater crocodiles, bull sharks and black flying-fox. An excellent opportunity to observe these primeval creatures as you cruise along the Adelaide River.

Today you will cruise the Adelaide River in crocodile infested waters, watch as your guide entices massive wild saltwater crocodiles to jump and snatch their food (witnessing crocodiles up close). Experience the ultimate thrill as these magnificent creatures leap out of the water with sheer power and grace - creating a profound sense of excitement and awe that will stay with you forever.

Enjoy a stop at Howard Springs, for a chance to see barramundi and turtles. Today is an amazing adventure.

DAY 5 Litchfield Luxury Day Tour

This is a truly beautiful and spiritual destination. The iconic Litchfield National Park is famous for stunning cascading tropical waterfalls, warm swimming holes, the Tabletop Range sandstone plateau, monsoon tropical rainforests, intriguing magnetic termite mounds and ancient aboriginal sites of the Wagait people. Significant attractions include Florence Falls, Buley Rockhole, Wangi Falls, Tolmer Falls, Tjaetaba Falls, Tjaynera Falls (Sandy Creek), Surprise Creek Falls, Blyth Homestead and Bamboo Creek.

Today you will discover Litchfield, including Florence Falls, the termite mounds, Wangi Falls and Tolmer Falls with the opportunity to take a dip in refreshing natural plunge pools bordered by magnificent pandanus palms.

We skirt Francis Bay on Darwin Harbour and head south out of Darwin on the Stuart Highway to Litchfield National Park. Visit Florence Falls (stunning views, perhaps walk down to the plunge pool for a swim in this beautiful oasis), see monsoon forests and woodland areas on an Interpretive Guided Walk, take a walk to Tolmer Falls (breathtaking valley with a waterfall, home to colonies of rare ghost and orange horseshoe bats, and distant views toward the coast over cattle stations), enjoy lunch surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of Litchfield, visit Wangi Falls and the large enticing plunge pool (perhaps take a dip or a stroll through lush tropical forest or relax and just take it all in), stop at the Meridien Termite Mounds (learn about Cathedral and Magnetic Termite Mounds).
