DAY 2 Darwin Tour, Sunset Cruise & Special Dinner

Today we embark on a fascinating guided tour of Darwin's rich culture and history. DAY 3 Katherine Gorge (Nitmiluk) Luxury Day Tour & Cruise

Today, experience the epic beauty and awe inspiring grandeur of Katherine Gorge and surrounding national park (now known by its traditional Aboriginal name of Nitmiluk). Your friendly driver will pick you up in a comfortable air-conditioned luxury coach before sharing experiences, fascinating facts and enchanting stories in the onboard commentary throughout the day. Head south from Darwin on the renowned Stuart Highway through the territory’s tropics - see endless outback scrub and World War II airstrips. Take a break at Adelaide River, visit Adelaide River War Cemetery (with memorial of the Darwin air raids in the 1940's) and spot for wallabies. Travel the western side of Nitmiluk National Park to the spectacular Edith (Leliyn) Falls in the heart of this untamed wilderness. Be enveloped by the serenity as Edith Falls cascades down with breathtaking grace - creating a sanctuary of tranquillity with emerald pools and the gentle whispers of nature (perhaps take a swim in the waterhole below the falls or relax on the grassy banks).

Enjoy a delicious buffet lunch at Katherine Gorge. Carved through ancient sandstone by the rhythmic dance of the Katherine River, Nitmiluk Gorge stands as a majestic testament to nature's enduring power. Take a two hour guided tour and scenic cruise through the Gorge looking for freshwater crocodiles on the banks and marvelling at the stark, sheer, richly coloured escarpments of the Nitmiluk Gorge canyon. Tour through the outback township of Katherine (third largest in the Territory), continuing via the historic gold mining town of Pine Creek. Arrive back into Darwin with your camera full of wonderful new memories.

Experience magnificent Litchfield, including Florence Falls, Wangi Falls, Tolmer Falls and the Magnetic Termite Mounds with a delicious buffet lunch. DAY 4 Jumping Crocodiles Luxury Day Tour & Cruise

Enjoy some free time this morning to explore Darwin before you set off for an exciting afternoon.

Travel inland to cruise a section of the Adelaide River and witness saltwater crocodiles close up as they leap out of the water to snatch their food. The Adelaide River starts in Litchfield National Park and is well known for its thriving high concentration of saltwater crocodiles, along with other wildlife including white-bellied sea eagles, whistling kites, freshwater crocodiles, bull sharks and the black flying-fox. An excellent opportunity to observe these primeval creatures as you cruise along the Adelaide River.

Today you will cruise the Adelaide River in crocodile infested waters, watch as your guide entices massive wild saltwater crocodiles to jump and snatch their food (witnessing crocodiles up close). Experience the ultimate thrill as these magnificent creatures leap out of the water with sheer power and grace - creating a profound sense of excitement and awe that will stay with you forever.

Visit the Wetland View Top & Information Centre (educational display with sweeping views over the wetlands from the top deck), before stopping at Howard Springs, for a chance to see barramundi and turtles. Today is an amazing adventure.

DAY 5 Kakadu Luxury Day Tour & Cruise

Immerse yourself in the awe-inspiring wonders of Kakadu, the World Heritage jewel in the heart of the Top End wilderness. Nature's grandeur is showcased across 20,000 square kms of diverse ecosystems and dramatic landscapes. Bear witness to the remarkable rich cultural heritage of the Gagudju people, with rock art sites recording the profound Aboriginal connection to this sacred land spanning thousands of generations. Home to an incredible array of wildlife, Kakadu boasts over 2,000 plant species and hosts nearly a third of Australia's bird species.

As we journey to the park, see the Top End outback bush, eucalypts, palms and termite mounds. Travelling along the Arnhem Highway, soak up the beauty of the majestic Marrakai Plains, a vast expanse of pristine wilderness that creates a breathtaking tableau of natural beauty. Upon arrival to Kakadu National Park, take in the serenity and beauty that nature gifts in the Kakadu wetlands and visit Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre to learn the stories and traditional ways of the beautiful Aboriginal people of Kakadu – the Bininj traditional owners. Take a 1.5 hour guided cruise on Yellow Water Billabong, spotting for saltwater crocodiles and colourful birdlife, including sea eagles, brolgas and tiny, brilliantly hued kingfishers. Marvel at Estuarine Crocodiles basking in the shallows and on the sandy banks. Enjoy a tropical buffet lunch (cold meats, salad and fruit) and some time out at Cooinda Lodge before taking a short guided walk to Nourlangie Rock to see ancient Aboriginal rock art. Head back into Darwin after a full day of discovery and wonderful experiences to treasure.
