This morning we farewell Switzerland and head into the Principality of Liechtenstein, one of the world's tiniest and richest countries. As the famous Brenner Pass appears before you, it will simply take your breath away. We then continue on to Venice, a city built on more than 100 small islands that are lined with splendid Renaissance and Gothic palaces. It has no roads, just canals like the famous Grand Canal. The central square, Piazza San Marco, contains St. Mark’s Basilica, which is tiled with Byzantine mosaics, and the Campanile bell tower offering views of the city’s famous red roofs.

We experience a walking tour along the canals and ancient narrow laneways through the heart of Venice to find out why this is such a famous city.
